Tambdi bhajii talasani / Red Amaranth leaves seasoned with garlic........ 


Clean and chop 5-6 cups of bhaji to finely. 













Wash in plenty of water and let drain off as much water as possible. Squeze out the water. 


 Heat a kadai with 2 tblsp of oil, when hot add in 12-15 peeled garlic and fry till golden brown. Add to this 3-4 red chillies cut to pieces, fry well. 


Add in the drained bhaji, salt to taste and mix well. Lower the heat and cook the bhaji covered till done. When 80% done add in ¼ cup of fresh grated coconut and mix well. Cover and cook till done. 


The dish should be dry and there should be no water remained in the bhaji. Serve hot with Dal chawal or as a side dish to roti.
