Chilled Kokum Ginger Lime Juice.


Chilled Kokum Ginger Lime Juice 












Soak 12-15 Kokum (semi dried) in 6 cups of water overnight or for at least 6 hrs. Mash well so that you get a proper redish juice. 












Add 2 tblsp of grated ginger and freshly squezeed juice of 2-3 lemons. Add about 1 cup of sugar, a pinch of cardamom powder and mix well. 


 Keep this mixture in the refrigerator to chill. 












Before serving strain the juice with a fine sieve so that there is no residue of any of the above in the juice. 


Add in more water if the juice is very sweet. Serve topped with ice cubes.

** You can also use kokum syrup available in the market for the same.
