Salad Patta / Salad leaves

Salad leaves are bright light coloured leaves available like a bunch. These leaves are used only to make salad. The salad is simple to make however it should be freshly prepared and used immediately.


Wash and pat dry the leaves well. Chop them finely and put it in a wide bowl. Chop some onions finely and add to the salad leaves. Add some slit chillies, pinch of salt and one freshly squezed lime. Mix well and serve immediately. Do not keep the salad once prepared for long time as it turns out limp and the taste also varies. Serve with any starter with some dips.
