Coriander + Mint + Coconut Chutney


Coriander + Mint + Coconut Chutney




Grind to a fine paste the following ingredients:
1 cup of freshly grated coconut, 2 cups of fresh coriander leaves, ½ cup of fresh pudina leaves (only leaves), 5-6 green chillies, small marble sized tamarind, 1 inch piece of ginger and 1 cup of water. 


The chutney should be ground to a very smooth paste. Add more water only if necessary. Remove and add salt to taste and mix well. This chutney can be served as an accompaniment to any dish. 


** You can also add 6-8 cloves of garlic while grinding the chutney.
