Raw Banana Bhaji with Onions

Raw banana 1 large sized or 2 medium size, Large Onion 1(cut into cubes) Garlic flakes 10-12 (peeled and chopped) Mustard seeds ½tsp Turmeric powder ½tsp, Red chili powder, 1tsp Groundnut Oil for seasoning 1tblsp, few curry leaves, Salt to taste Coriander leaves 1 cup (chopped fine).

Pressure cook raw bananas in a cooker to one whistle. Allow to cool, peel and cube the bananas. (I micro waved the banans after peeling the skin and chopping them to cubes). In a kadai, heat the oil, add the mustard seeds. When they splutter, add chopped onion and stir till soft. Add chopped garlic & curry leaves and stir. Add turmeric and red chili powders. Add the banana pieces, salt and stir. Wash and chop the coriander leaves finely. Add to the vegetable, stir for some time and the side dish is ready to serve.
