Amla-Cucumber Pachodi / Chutney.


Amla-Cucumber Pachodi / Chutney.
Tastes best with Chitranna. 

Grate one Amala (avalo), add two medium sized cucumber chopped fine. Add salt & Keep aside. 

Grind to a fine paste 1/2 cup fresh grated coconut, 3 green chillies & one finely sliced amla. Add this to the amla-cucumber & mix well to required thickness. 


For tempering: Heat 1 tsp oil in a kadai add 1/4 tsp urad dal, 1/2 tsp rai (sasam), few curry leaves & a pinch of hing. Pour this over the pachodi. Serve with chitranna.
